Adam W. Bayer is a longtime Oldham County resident, dedicated public servant, and homegrown leader with deep roots in the community he proudly calls home. Adam moved to Oldham County in 1978, when his family settled in Hampton Farms near Harrods Creek, where his father and grandfather built their family home. Over the years, he has lived in Crestwood and La Grange, building strong ties throughout the county and serving his neighbors in meaningful ways, including leadership roles in local homeowners associations.
A graduate of Liberty Elementary, Immaculate Conception, and Trinity High School, Adam has spent his life invested in the people and future of Oldham County. His professional experience reflects that same commitment, spanning a range of local roles and employers—from 25 years running his own small business, to time with Torbit and Castleman, to his current role as Oldham County’s sole Code Enforcement Officer, a position he has proudly held for the past five years!
Adam and his wife, Dana, have been married for more than 20 years and have raised their three children in Oldham County Public Schools. Their family is deeply involved in the community, carrying on a legacy of service and connection that runs generations deep. Adam’s parents also played a beloved role in local life as the longtime owners and operators of Serendipity Café on Main Street in La Grange for 15 years.
With a lifetime of experience, a heart for service, and a commitment to representing all residents of Oldham County, Adam Bayer is ready to bring steady leadership and a strong local voice to the office of Oldham County Judge Executive—regardless of political party.

Supporting the County Employees Who Serve Oldham County
Oldham County depends on dedicated public employees to keep our community running, but too many county positions are hard to fill and hard to keep because pay and benefits are not competitive. When some career positions are making as low as $20 an hour, it becomes difficult to recruit qualified workers, retain experienced employees, and provide families with the stability they deserve.
If we want strong county services, we must invest in the people who deliver them every day and build a workplace where employees can afford to stay, grow, and serve Oldham County with pride.

Smart Development, Strong Communities

Major projects such as development options of the State Prison property and proposed data centers deserve careful review to ensure they bring real long-term value, respect nearby neighborhoods and farmland, and do not place unnecessary strain on roads, utilities, public safety, or local resources.
Adam Bayer believes these decisions should be made with the people of Oldham County in mind first—balancing economic opportunity with responsible planning, local input, and accountability so that growth works for our county, not against it.
Leadership That Gives Back
If elected, Adam Bayer promises to give 20% of the Judge Executive salary back to the people of Oldham County to a local nonprofit dedicated to families facing serious and unexpected household expenses.
When a major repair or unforeseen hardship hits, too many hardworking residents are left with nowhere to turn. By working with local businesses and service providers, this effort would help connect families with meaningful support when they need it most.
